A curious developer who codes by day and explores the world with a backpacker's spirit, always seeking new adventures and perspectives.
Growing up in Hubei, an inland province of China, I was never much of a traveler. In fact, I didn’t take my first overseas trip until I was 25. That journey, in 2023, took me to Japan — and it changed my life. Experiencing a new culture, tasting different foods, and meeting people from all over the world opened my eyes to the incredible possibilities beyond my familiar surroundings. From that moment on, I was hooked on travel.
The following year, a trip to Thailand opened my eyes even more. In the vibrant city of Bangkok, I met a backpacker who changed my perspective completely. He showed me that I didn’t need to be tied to a traditional job or be wealthy to travel — that long-term, budget travel was not only possible but something millions of people were already doing. I knew then that I wanted to follow the same path.
After returning home, I quit my cubicle job and in March 2025, I set off on my first long-term backpacking trip — my first solo journey as well.
